Here is a good article forwarded to me by one of my friends.
and a link to the Sarah Palin-Hillary Clinton SNL skit.
I’m a bit amused that the left is so amused by this interview with Karl Rove. The topic made today’s headlines of both Yahoo! and CNN. As Rove himself points out, the left likes part of what Rove said only to turn around and mislead the public as to the totality of what he actually did say. “With the commercials of Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) under attack for falsehoods, Rove said that both sides in the presidential race have ‘gone one step too far’ — in McCain’s case, by ‘attributing to Obama things that are … beyond the 100 percent truth test.’” This sounds like Rove is understating things to either make a point or at least acknowledge that some McCain ads have overstated the case. This is a perfect example of how the left lies without “lying.” At the end of the article Rove brings up the point that the left isn’t telling people that Rove said the Obama camp was worse than the McCain campaign.
What is so funny is that the left thinks Rove is so dishonest, and the media just prints it. They supposedly uncover all his illicit tactics as gotchas somehow oblivious to the fact that they are even more guilty of said tactics, and their golden boy, Bill Clinton, is as dishonest and sceeming as they come. In case I just lost you with the Bill Clinton reference, the case in point concerning left wing prevarication is that they have to lie to voters about just how liberal they are to even stand a chance in an election. Think about it. During the primaries, the Republicans were all trying to convince the public that they were more conservative than they were. Even they try to look more conservative than they are. Clinton did it, Gore did it and now Obama is doing it. Do Democrats ever brag about their liberalness publicly during an election. Why don’t we as a people see through this? I think I got off the topic of the news media. Uhm, oh, and the media doesn’t call out the Democract on any of this. I wouldn’t necessarily fault them for being liberal if they would just be honest about it. Did I redeem myself? Enough said. Still, good political drama.
