NPR holds the GOP in contempt despite admitting GOP election gains due to spending-cut promises
This article doesn’t interview a conservative until half way down. I also like how the authors admits that the GOP made great gains during the last election with the promise of cutting spending yet they still hold the GOP in contempt. “The bill, though affecting only one state, had become a key test for Republicans who made huge gains in November elections by promising to slash government spending at the national and state level in an effort to boost the economy.”
The vote would strip nearly all collective bargaining rights from public workers.
