Would the mainstream media ever defend the tea party so?

This article may not be from what I would usually call the mainstream media.  I did find it on Yahoo!, however, so it still has the same affect as other concensus building media.  When is the mainstream media going to come out with a study saying that the religious right can’t be sterotyped. The tea party? This study is probably good. Such sterotypes are excessive. What I have a hard time believing about this study is how novel they seem to think are their findings.  “Some Muslims fear the measure could make illegal some of the key practices of their faith, such as praying five times a day in the direction of Mecca, fasting during the holy month of Ramadan and refraining from drinking alcohol.”  This is what they fear?  Why, and how, could they possibly fear this in the West let alone over here?  The mainstream media has some questions to answer.
