NPR doesn’t fact-check social security. It just declares controversy

This is front, top and center on the NPR website the day after the CNN Tea Party debate.  This seems enough like news until you wonder if NPR would have a headline like this regarding anything controversial at a Democrat debate.  Hmm.

Reading the story yields even less news.  What is also missed is that the questions were directed to the candidates by Wolf Blitzer.

Perry’s characterizations of the program as a “Ponzi scheme” dog his campaign, and the GOP.
